Lithuanian Parliament Rebukes CCP for Religious Persecution

On December 11, 2019, an international conference, Religious Freedom and Freedom of Conscience: Contemporary Challenges, was hosted in the Constitution Hall of Lithuanian Parliament (Seimas). Religious freedom and human rights in some Asian regions were discussed at the conference, with a focus on the issue of religious persecution in China. Before it commenced, one member of the European Parliament and 29 members of the Lithuanian Parliament sent a joint letter to the Chinese embassy calling on the Chinese government to put a stop to all persecution of religious groups, including The Church of Almighty God (CAG).
